Puppet Shows at Java Cat
Fridays, 10 a.m., Java Cat Cafe, 3918 Monona Dr, Madison, Reid Miller’s Paw Paw Puppet Theater presents puppet shows of traditional and contemporary fables, and folk and faerie tales. The series runs through August.
Included in the ever-increasing list of titles are Lion and Mouse, Monkey and Crocodile, Mootown Musicians, Stone Soup, Chicken and Alligator, and more.
In addition to puppet shows, Java Cat serves up fresh gelato, bakery, candy, coffee, soda, soup or sandwich; and free wi-fi.

On Tuesday mornings there are drop-in storytimes at 10:00 am in the Carnegie Room at the library. These are prepared for pre-school and early elementary age children. Time spent at these programs can be used as part of the reading time that children record to receive rewards, so come and enjoy!
